How To Use Security Team Texting

Quick guide for everyday use. Keep it simple: CHECKIN, message, and STATUS.

CHECKIN - Mark yourself as on-duty
STATUS - See all on-duty users
[Any message] - By default, broadcasts to all checked-in users
@Name - Send direct message
@LEO / @Police / @PD [message] - Send to active LEO on duty
@MEDIC [message] - Routes to on-duty supervisor/owner for Medical escalation
#new / join #1 / #list / #leave - Private channel chat (#1-#9)
[Plain message while in #N] - Sends to your active channel. Use #leave to exit channel mode

Member Messages

Default free-text behavior: plain messages broadcast to all checked-in users.
If you have an active private channel (#1-#9), plain free-text goes to that channel until you send #leave.
Use @Name for direct messages.

Dispatcher / LEO / Medical

Default free-text behavior: broadcasts to all checked-in users.
If you have an active private channel (#1-#9), plain free-text goes to that channel until you send #leave.
@LEO and @MEDIC route to active role recipients (based on current policy toggles).

Supervisor / Owner

Default free-text behavior: broadcasts to all checked-in users.
If you have an active private channel (#1-#9), plain free-text goes to that channel until you send #leave.
@ALL [message] sends to all active users, including off-duty users (excluding off-duty LEO/MEDICAL roles).
FWD [enter] forwards your latest inbound message to on-duty users.
FWD @ALL [enter] forwards your latest inbound message to all users (INCL off-duty except off-duty LEO/MEDICAL).
